Since 1952, Newtown Ambulance Squad has proudly served the residents of Newtown and the surrounding communities, providing compassionate, professional emergency medical services whenever they are needed. For more than 70 years, our dedicated EMTs and paramedics have been answering the call with advanced training, modern lifesaving equipment, and an unwavering commitment to protecting the health and safety of our community.
As a nonprofit organization, Newtown Ambulance Squad is committed to delivering exceptional emergency medical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. While insurance reimbursements help offset some of the costs of providing emergency medical services, they do not cover the full cost of operating a modern EMS organization. Ambulances, cardiac monitors, medications, medical supplies, communications equipment, continuing education, vehicle maintenance, and advanced lifesaving technology all require significant ongoing investment.
That is why community support is so important.

An EMS Subscription is a voluntary annual membership that provides valuable financial protection while helping support the lifesaving work of Newtown Ambulance Squad.
When you call 911 and require ambulance transportation, your health insurance may not cover the full cost of the service. An EMS subscription helps protect you from eligible out-of-pocket expenses, giving you added peace of mind when you need it most.
Your annual subscription also helps Newtown Ambulance Squad invest in advanced medical equipment, ambulance operations, training, and the resources needed to provide exceptional emergency medical care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
